The Inspiration
PAM’S PAGES, a People!Art!Music!® project, is a community bulletin board and neighborhood directory built to connect independent doers directly with their community.
By virtue of being an artist myself, I’ve seen firsthand how incredibly difficult it can be (especially as a new and emerging creator!) to find quality opportunities that actually align with the type of work you want to do. I've also found that it can be equally tough for businesses and neighbors to find the specific local talent they're seeking.
Seeing that gap, and the incredible wealth of passion projects popping up at every turn, I created a shared space where we can easily find each other, trade skills, and keep our communities independent.
The Vision
You can think of PAM'S PAGES as a community bulletin board and neighborhood directory.
- FOR CREATIVES (Discover and be Discovered): This is your space to put your skills on the map, list your specific trades, and find your next gig. Use the bulletin board to track down active open calls, find custom commissions, and get notified about local projects or artist calls that match your exact interests and goals.
- FOR EMERGING & POP-UP BUSINESSES (Collaborate & Grow) Built for the side-gigs and independent makers turning passion projects into something more. Use the directory to find a neighborhood designer to create a logo, look for local spaces to host a pop-up, or let neighbors know you are available to vend at private events.
- FOR ORGANIZERS & COMMUNITY GROUPS (Host, Hire & Coordinate) Built for shop owners, neighborhood venues, and local coordinators. Post your open calls, share creative opportunities, and allow people to follow your profile to stay updated on your next project.
In an era where independent platforms and human-made creations are facing massive uncertainty, PAM’s Pages is our collective hub for elevating the fabric of our city and local communities.
